Attraction
There are a lot of attractions in Tokyo Dome City. Here are some examples.
Thunder Dolphin(Roller Coaster)
Thunder Dolphin, a symbol of Tokyo Dome City, is 1,100 meters long, has a maximum speed of 130 km, and has a gradient of about 80 meters, making it a thrilling ride.
Impression of Roller Coaster
The first impression is that I enjoyed it very much. First of all, as a roller coaster, the experience of falling rapidly from 130 meters is unique to roller coasters. The strong feeling of floating and the wind pressure so strong that your face is distorted. The ride repeatedly drops and rises, and the field of vision rotates at a dizzying pace. However, there is no discomfort; in fact, it is exhilarating. Even as the scenery changes, your thoughts are sharpened, and you feel a sense of omnipotence that makes your consciousness clear. This is a precious experience that can only be felt while riding a roller coaster. It was a time when all of my nerves were awake and I could feel that I was present in this world with my whole being, even if it was only for a short period of time.
Other Attractions
Other than a roller coaster, there are also a ferris wheel and a merry-go-around. The Ferris wheel at Tokyo Dome is an aerial experience that lasts about 15 minutes and costs 1,000 yen per person. At a maximum height of 80 meters, you can see the entire Tokyo Dome City. The merry-go-around costs 600 yen per person and there are no limits of heights and age. This experience lasts about 3 minutes and you can ride not only horses, but also rabbits, white tigars, gorilas, and frogs.
